Ford Mustang Mach 1 Sportsroof 1969
Originally built in San Jose, California with the 351, 4 valve V8 Cleveland engine this car spent its first 35 years in the USA. Privately imported into the UK and registered in May 2004, this Ford Mustang Mach 1 Sportsroof 1969 model has the much sought after twin headlamp set up from the factory.
Finished in the very ‘period’ Meadowlark Yellow with Black trim the long list of factory options include: 3-speed automatic gearbox, hood scoop, chrome ‘pop-open’ gas cap, deluxe interior, rear deck spoiler, rear window louvres and the dealer optional chin spoiler.
The current owner tells us that he has had the car since 2013 since when he has gradually improved its condition and now says it driver very well and that everything works except for the passenger side clock. He describes the bodywork as sound, the paintwork as 46 years old but tidy and the interior trim as good except for cracked vinyl on the dash top.
The car has a history file including MOT’s, invoices and an owner’s manual and will be MOT’d until June 2017. The indicated mileage is 52875 and while the UK MOT’s support this figure it cannot be fully confirmed.
We are advertising this on behalf of the current owner who has provided this description and any interested parties will be put in direct contact with him to negotiate the private sale.
